During a routine inspection

We spoke with two health and social care professionals who referred people to this service. They were complimentary about the service and told us the home care service provided the support which they requested. They also told us the service provided feedback to them about the support they had given.

We looked at three referrals to the service which included the reason for referral, the support required and information about the person's medical history. We saw from the communication records completed by the staff, the support provided was as detailed in the referral form.

We did not talk to people using the service or their representative as the service only provided support for a maximum of 48 hrs. In order to gain an insight into people's experience of the service, we looked at three completed satisfaction surveys and they showed people had a positive experience of the service.

During a routine inspection

We spoke to three people who use the service and they told us that staff are kind, always talk to them and make changes for any requests that are made.

People who use the service told us that they were very happy with the care being provided. Two people told us that they have reviewed their care plans with the manager within the last three months. The people we spoke to also told us that they are kept involved in the care planning process.

People are provided with information and contact numbers if they have any concerns about the care they receive. They also told us that they would telephone the provider directly if they had any concerns.

People who use the service told us that they do not have any concerns with the care they receive and care staff always wear identification badges.
