We used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of people using the service, because the people using the service had complex needs which meant they were not fully able to tell us their experiences. We spoke with one person who used the service and looked at recent satisfaction surveys completed by relatives and residents. We also looked at recent minutes of resident meetings and community meetings to obtain feedback on the services provided at 35 West Thorpe.

The overall view of people was that 35 West Thorpe was providing a good service. Information provision was good, staff treated people with respect, and the staff interacted well with people who use the service.
