During a routine inspection

People using the service and their relatives with whom we spoke told us that they had been involved in the assessment and planning of their care and that dignity and privacy is respected by staff at Professional Care Services Limited. They told us they were satisfied with the care provided to them and confirmed that they had a copy of their individual support plan. People told us that, where necessary, staff supported them to take their medications by reminding or prompting them. They also said that staff use good infection control practices.

People with whom we spoke told us that they feel safe using the services of Professional Care Services Limited. They said that staff always had identity badges and that if there is a change of planned carer, the agency always rings them to tell them who will be coming instead.

We received positive comments praising the staff working at Professional Care Services Limited. People said that they were supported by regular and familiar staff who arrived on time, knew their needs and were able to meet them. People using the service and their relatives told us they felt able to raise any concerns, and had their views listened to and acted upon.
