During a routine inspection

Relatives of people in the home told us that people were well cared for and supported. They told us, 'The staff are good. x is much more calm now that he is at that home'. 'The staff bring x to visit me' 'The staff are respectful'. Relatives told us that they felt able to contact staff when necessary and they were kept up to date with what is happening.

People who lived in the home told us that they were looking forward to going out that day. They indicated that they were pleased with what they were cooking for their evening meal. They looked comfortable and relaxed with the staff.

We saw that the staff communicated well with people who lived in the home and people indicated to us that they were happy. We saw staff offering people choices and respecting these. For example, we saw staff asking people if they wanted to go shopping. We saw staff offering people choices about their meal.
