During a routine inspection
People told us that the food was good. They said that they got good old fashioned food such as sausage toad, shepherds pie and minced beef cobbler. They told us that the food was home made and that the desserts were nice.
People said that they liked the staff. They said that staff were friendly and helpful and that the care they received was good. They told us that the staff were very nice and that they felt safe living at Carolyne House. People said that they sometimes had to wait for staff assistance. They told us that staff were very busy helping others and they understood why they had to wait.
People told us that the home was always kept nice and clean. They said that the domestic staff worked very hard. A visiting relative told us that the home was always clean and fresh when they visited. People told us that they were happy living at Carolyne House. They said that they were often asked how they wanted things to be done.
