During a routine inspection
We spoke with 28 people who were using the service and/or their relative and feedback given was very positive. People told us that staff were kind, caring and punctual and that minor issues were dealt with swiftly. One person said, "My carer is wonderful and I have no complaints.". Another said, "My needs are met well."
We found that the majority of care plans had been reviewed since our last inspection, but that ongoing work was planned. We noted that, whilst risk assessments covered the majority of people's needs, there was scope to ensure that the risks associated with reduced mobility and community outings were better recorded.
Most staff had received training updates in mandatory topics, although there was scope to improve the way that this information was recorded. Plans for formal supervision going forward were in place. Staff meetings took place and staff told us that they felt empowered to feedback any concerns they had.
