During a routine inspection

During this inspection we spoke with two people using the service. They both told us they were pleased with their care and treatment. One person said, "the staff seemed extremely professional and welcoming. They explained everything beforehand and made sure I knew exactly what to expect". Another person said, "it has been an easy process from start to finish. The nurse invited me to ask any questions and checked I was happy to have various tests."

The treatment areas were clean and well equipped. Staff had attended life support training and knew what to do in the event of an emergency.

Appropriate checks were made before staff started work at the clinic. This meant that people received their care and treatment from suitably qualified and safely recruited staff.

People using the service told us they had been informed about how to make a complaint and felt confident that any complaint would be properly managed.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people during this inspection. Both people told us they were treated with respect and their dignity was promoted. One person using the service told us 'I have found this to be a very nice, welcoming and comfortable experience and I am going to recommend to my family and friends'.

The medical and nursing staff were described as being 'very professional, polite and friendly." Both people told us the staff fully explained procedures and provided good information about their health care needs.

People told us they were seen very promptly and staff were responsive to their needs. The clinic was described by one person using the service as being 'effectively operated for the needs of patients.'

Both people said they felt safe at the clinic and they were confident that any complaints would be properly investigated. They told us the service had asked for their views about the quality of care and what could be improved.
