During a routine inspection
The people we spoke to explained that they were always spoken to about their treatment in privacy and that they were given good and detailed information about their care and treatment. They told us that they had also received detailed information about their aftercare and rehabilitation. They also confirmed that they had received good input from physiotherapy and had received advice about their rehabilitation post discharge from the hospital. 'All staff, including the medical staff, explained everything to me. I have only praise for my care here'. 'I felt fully informed about the care and treatment I was receiving'. 'The physiotherapist was a gem ' they were very kind and considerate to me following my surgery'.
People said that the building was relaxing and clean. We were told there was sufficient natural light in the rooms and the en-suites were very nice.
"The rooms are clean ' it's very comfortable in here.' 'Everything was fantastic'. 'Whilst I was in the theatre the anaesthetist was with me all time to reassure me'. 'I felt really relaxed even though I was scared'. I am going to send a thank you card because they have all been absolutely wonderful'. 'If I need assistance and press the call bell they are always there within seconds'.
