During a routine inspection
People spoken to were satisfied with the care they were receiving. One person said, 'I think I am getting the care I need, they do get the doctor if I am unwell'.
People said they feel safe living in the home. They are able to go to the manager if worried about anything. They said they know how to make a complaint, but have not had to do this.
People spoken to confirmed that Piper Court was clean and well maintained. One person said, 'My room is kept clean'.
People said they were able to personalise their bedrooms and were satisfied with the home environment.
People spoken to said of the staff, 'They speak nicely to you, they are friendly and helpful'.
People spoken to thought there was sufficient staff available to meet their needs. One person said, 'The staff are nice, they make you a cup of tea when you want one'.
People spoken to said they are aware of residents meeting and they could attend if they wanted to. They also confirmed that they had completed a survey about the service.
