Updated 3 March 2025
Date of assessment: 18 March 2025 to 28 March 2025. We completed this assessment after a significant safeguarding concern was identified, to check the action the provider had taken to keep people safe. The provider had taken appropriate action in response to the safeguarding concern identified. They had acted to make sure people were safe and worked with other professionals to identify what had taken place and the lessons which could be learned. The provider had been open and transparent with staff and relatives. Staff told us they had been supported, listened to, and involved in any changes made. The management team had completed a review of processes to identify any improvements which needed to be made. Any changes had been made immediately and put in place across all the provider’s services.
Potential risks to people’s health and welfare had been assessed but there was not always written guidance for staff to follow. However, staff knew people well and understood their support and care needs. Medicines were managed safely, and people received their medicines as prescribed. Staff received training and supervision appropriate to their roles.
