During a routine inspection

We spoke with four people who used the service and four members of staff. People spoken with were complimentary about the approach of the staff who supported them and told us that the staff treated them with respect. One person said, "When I was ill they (staff) were here for me at short notice - they were brilliant." Another person said, "The carer is truly there for us - we get a life." Another said, "They (staff) are very helpful."

The staff we spoke to told us they felt supported and could contribute to the development of the service. One member of staff told us " I'm happy I could talk to the manager anytime. The training is very appropriate."

We tracked the care records of eight people who used the service which showed that people experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.
