During a routine inspection

We were able to speak with a number of people being supported by Living Ambitions, who all provided us with positive comments about the service they received. People felt they were able to make decisions about how they wanted to be supported. They told us their care workers were kind and treated them well. People spoken with felt their needs were consistently met and told us about the packed activity programmes they pursued on a daily basis.

Comments received included:

"They (the staff) are very friendly and they take me out a lot."

"They help me to decide what I want to do."

"The staff are just great."

"I like shopping and they take me shopping a lot to buy things."

During our visit to this location, we looked at how people's needs were being met and if they were able to make decisions about the care and support they received. We also assessed areas in relation to the recruitment of staff, the management of complaints and how the quality of service provision was being monitored. We did not find any concerns with the outcome areas we assessed on this occasion.
