There are six service users in the home and all were present on the day of the inspection. The home is run by the registered providers who both have a health care background, with support from one other member of staff. The home feels like and functions as one large family unit. Service users were keen to tell us that it was their own home and not like a care home.

We spoke with five of the service users and they all spoke highly of the owners and the home itself.

Comments we received from service users were:

"This is more like an extended family than a care home.'

'I had a look round a couple of other places but this was more like home.'

'We can do what we want to do but we have help if we need it.'

'We all get along well together.'
