During a routine inspection

All the people we spoke to were happy with the service provided at the home. They liked the staff and found them caring and respectful. They liked their rooms and were happy with the bathing and washing facilities. They said they felt safe when being moved using hoists and standing aids. They said that activities were provided and they did not always want to join in but liked the choice. They said that their medical conditions were well managed and the nurses were good. They said there were enough staff on duty to support them and this included night time and week ends. They liked the food and there were choices so they did not have to have what was on the menu and also they could eat where they liked. They could have visitors any time they liked and visitors said they always felt welcome. Some people would rather not be in a care home but they said this one was ok. They said the manager was approachable.
