During a routine inspection
People said the food was really good and that they get plenty of choice. One person said if they asked for something not normally on the menu one day it was there the next day.
People confirmed that they were consulted about the provision of care and said that staff knew what support they needed. They said that they were able to take part in lots of social activities and outings were arranged weekly. They said that they were consulted about planning activities and outings. One person said that 'There is always something going on and I can choose what I want to take part in.'
People told us that their home was clean, comfortable and warm. They said that they had been consulted about the d'cor before work was undertaken recently. They said that they thought staff were well trained and one person said the staff were 'tremendous'. People confirmed that there were plenty of opportunities to comment on the service, change their own routines or raise concerns.
