Date of Assessment: 16 April to 4 June 2026.

ADM Care Support Limited is a supported living service and provides support to people with a mental health condition. People’s care and housing are provided under separate contractual agreements. CQC does not regulate premises used for supported living. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.

At the time of our assessment there was 1 person receiving personal care from the service. The service registered with the Care Quality Commission on 23 June 2022. We carried out this assessment to provide the service with their first overall rating. The assessment was carried out by 1 inspector and included a visit to the service on the 30 April 2026. We also reviewed records remotely. During the assessment we spoke with the registered manager, and we obtained written feedback from staff. We sought feedback from 1 person who received support with personal care. At this assessment we looked at all 33 quality statements and provided the service with an overall rating of good.

People confirmed that their medicines were administered safely, and we found accurate, up‑to‑date records were maintained. A comprehensive medicines policy was in place, outlining how the medication process was managed. Safeguarding systems were robust, with clear procedures for reporting and investigating any concerns. The registered manager demonstrated a strong understanding of safeguarding processes.

Risks associated with people’s needs, as well as environmental risks, had been appropriately assessed, with effective measures in place to mitigate these. Staff were recruited safely, and the registered manager demonstrated a clear understanding of safe recruitment practices. A recruitment policy was in place, which included detailed information on pre-employment checks undertaken. Staffing levels were maintained, and no concerns were raised by people or staff regarding staffing. People’s care was planned and delivered in line with their individual support plans. Staff had carried out the appropriate training, and they were supported with regular supervision.

The registered manager undertook assessments of people’s needs, to ensure the service could support them safely and effectively. The provider outlined how people were supported with their healthcare needs to promote and maintain their wellbeing. Consent was obtained prior to delivering personal care or support with any tasks. Person-centred support plans were in place, which clearly reflected people’s needs, as well as their preferences, likes, and dislikes. Governance systems were in place, with a structured programme of regular audits to monitor and review the quality of the service. The provider, who was also the registered manager, was actively involved in the day-to-day running of the service. They worked closely with both people using the service and staff, maintaining a visible and supportive leadership presence.

People's experience of the service

Updated 30 March 2026

People were supported by staff who consistently showed kindness, compassion, and had a positive attitude in their approach to care.” A person told us, “I have been in several different services, and this one is the best. The staff are really nice, and the manager is really good.”

Staff had developed positive relationships with people and were able to provide support that was meaningful, professional and person centred. People were involved with planning their care and had a copy of their support plan. The complaints policy was displayed on a notice board, for people to refer to. This contained information about the service, contact details and how to make a complaint if they were unhappy. The registered manager was respectful of people’s cultural needs and had built a trusted relationship with people. We gathered feedback from professionals who worked closely with people using the service and staff; this feedback was positive. A professional told us, “I have worked alongside the staff on numerous occasions and have developed a positive rapport with the manager.” Another professional told us, “The leadership is good and staff are aware of people’s particular risks and support needs. They have also made themselves available to attend risk management meetings, when necessary to ensure that a consistent approach is maintained.”
