During a routine inspection

People told us the staff were kind and treated them well. They said the manager and staff listened to them and took notice of what they said. They said there were well cared for. One person said "I used to have a bath but didn't like it so now I have a shower". People told us they had enjoyed the recent jubilee celebrations and were planning events to celebrate the Olympics. Some people told us they enjoyed going to the MIND drop-in centre in Bradford.

Visitors told us that in their experience staff were always kind and patient in their interactions with people using the service. They told us they did not have any concerns about the well being or safety of people living at Rookwood. One visitor said "I have never seen the staff shout at anyone".

Of the people spoken to who use the services, they commented that they were happy and comforatble at the home. One person commented that they get bored.
