During a routine inspection

During this visit we spoke with three tenants, all of whom provided very positive comments about the service. We were told that the home was a very happy place, with supportive and caring staff. One person said 'It feels like a home.' One person indicated to us that there were plenty of choices in relation to the way tenants were supported to live in the home, such as shopping, cooking and taking part in leisure activities. It was expressed to us that there was a feeling of independence but good involvement in planning and assessing personal goals with staff and regular review's of progress. The three people who spoke with us advised that they were treated with dignity and respect and that they had their rights taken into account.
