During a routine inspection

People told us they were happy with the care and support they received. People said they had been consulted about their care.

Records we looked at showed people's views about their care was sought. People or their relatives were consulted about the care provided, and included in discussions when people's needs changed.

We found the records for daily support living were comprehensive and reflected the care people received.

We found staff were knowledgeable about safeguarding people and had received training in protecting vulnerable adults.

The provider had a system in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service people received.

During an inspection in response to concerns

People who use this agency said that they were kept informed of any changes to their carer or if they were likely to be late.

They all had been made aware of their right's and had been provided with all necessary information.

People told us that staff respected their privacy and dignity. They said that they had a care plan and that staff did what was written in the care plan and would do extra tasks if time allowed.

People said that they trusted the staff and felt safe with them in their homes. One person commented, 'It is more like friends coming in' another said, 'They are like friends. We get on well together'.

People said that they liked the fact that they received the same carer as this meant that the carer got to know how they liked things done.
