During a routine inspection

The two people we spoke with both expressed very positive comments about the service provided and the qualities of the people that worked at Therapy House. One person said, 'I completely trust them. I am very happy with the outcome. Any questions I had were completely answered and more information was given than I had even thought about. The service is very professional they treat each person the same way. Confidentiality is always respected and that is important.'

The second person commented, 'They always make you feel at ease. The whole set up is very friendly and comfortable. I am very satisfied'.

Both people also confirmed that options had been fully explained to them including the benefits and any risks of each treatment option. This meant that people were given enough information to make an informed choice.

Although we did not ask people specifically about complaints, both people stated that they had no complaints about the service what so ever. However we were told that if there was any concern they would immediately contact the therapy practitioner and make their views known. Both people expressed confidence that action would be taken to address any concern.

People's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their treatment.

We spoke with four people who used the service. These people confirmed that they were provided with good information both about the treatment options and the cost of the different treatments. One person told us, 'Yes, I had all the options explained to me for the different treatments I have had. It was informative and I have a full price list of all the available treatment options. It is a very good service'.

Another person said, 'I was very impressed, so much so that I had other treatments done. I have to say they explained everything to me. She (clinical director) was very good. I did not just go in and have the treatment. There was a free consultation and then some thinking time before I confirmed the treatment I wanted. I would definitely recommend it to my friends'.

The needs of people were assessed and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual requirements.

We contacted and spoke with four people who had received recent treatment at Therapy House. They told us that the clinical director, who had provided their treatment, was good at making them feel at ease. People spoke very highly of the service and expressed satisfaction with their treatment and care.

One person said, 'They are always polite and very professional and it is comfortable. Things are explained well and I feel confident in what they do and say.' Another person said, 'I have felt confident in what I have had done but I would say something if I felt that anything was not appropriate'. A third person commented, 'I cannot find any constructive criticism, there is nothing to fault. The whole thing was thoroughly explained to me, there was no sales pitch. It was very much of this will work or not work. In terms of knowledge and education it is second to one.'

We noted that Therapy House was clean and well maintained. People we spoke with all said that the environment was always clean, tidy and welcoming with one person saying, 'I have no concerns about cleanliness. There has never been anything out of place. This first thing I always do is use the facilities and I have always found the facilities spotless'.

People spoken with confirmed that their views and opinions were always taken into account and respected. One person told us that she had completed a questionnaire and another person said that she was always asked at the following visit, how she was feeling following the treatment and had it been different following the treatment'.
