During an inspection in response to concerns

We first visited the home in the late evening as concerns were identified in relation to staffing. Hence we were unable to talk to residents as most were either asleep or being supported to go to bed. We followed this up with another visit during the day and spoke to residents, their relatives and friends. We were told that people were happy with the staff working in the home. They found them friendly and willing to spend time and talk to them. They also told us that staff organised external outings for residents including trips to the library and shopping. Relatives we spoke to told us that the home had recently recruited a number of new staff.
