During a routine inspection

We inspected the care files and other records at the provider's offices and spoke with eleven people using the service, or their relatives. We also spoke with seven members of staff and the registered manager of the care agency. Most people told us that they received good care which met their individual needs, and all the people we spoke with said the staff treated them well. One person told us that the care they received was "spot on" and another person told us the care staff knew "exactly what to do" to support the person. People told us their care was monitored and reviewed by care managers and they felt listened to in most cases. The provider had taken steps to protect people from abuse and support staff through training and supervision, and we found records were stored securely. Staff we spoke with said they felt supported by the agency and most staff said it was a 'good agency' to work for.

During a routine inspection

People were, on the whole, happy with the quality of service being provided by Westminster Homecare Ltd (Bromley). Care staff were generally on time, 'pleasant' and 'nice.' People felt they could discuss any problems about the service with agency office staff although the people we spoke to had not had any major concerns.
