During a routine inspection
One person using the service was responsible for cleaning their own bedroom as a step toward independent living. We found that this bedroom was quite dirty, especially the floor and the kitchen area. Staff told us that they checked this bedroom regularly to make sure it was being kept clean but that records were not being kept of this to ensure the person using the service was managing to clean it effectively.
We spoke with people using the service and they told us that there were meetings held regularly in the home. One person told us, 'I go to the meetings but I don't really have anything to say as I am happy here.' Another said, 'They have meetings for us to go to and we talk about going out and stuff.'
We spoke with five people using the service and they told us that they were happy with the care they were receiving.
