During an inspection in response to concerns
A care coordinator/senior social worker that placed a person at Chatfield Lodge for three weeks respite told us 'the placement was very successful and the person really enjoyed their stay at the home. The registered provider and staff were very organised and welcoming and they did a really good job. I would consider placing other people at the home'.
The local authorities safeguarding coordinator told us they had no concerns about the service. They told us 'when we investigated previous safeguarding concerns in 2009 the registered provider and their assistant operated in an open and transparent manner with the safeguarding team and the care home support team'.
