During an inspection in response to concerns

The people living at Holly House (Barberry) told us that they felt safe living there. They explained that if they had any concerns or issues they would feel confident to raise them with a member of the staff team. They also explained that if anyone living there became upset or angry staff spent time sitting and talking with them, 'they don't shout'.

There were a number of staff working in Holly House (Barberry) during our visit. The people living there told us that there were 'enough staff for everyone'. This meant they got the support they needed at home as well as support to go out and about.

During our visit we observed that staff spent social time with the people living there and responded positively to requests for support. We also observed that the people living there appeared confident around the staff team, approaching them freely and interacting with them.
