During an inspection in response to concerns
To help us assess how the service supports people with dementia, we spent one hour observing the care people received within the main lounge / diner of Greenfields Care Centre.
We observed three people receiving their lunch. The mealtime was relaxed and unhurried, and people were supported to eat independently.
We saw the staff being attentive, courteous and respectful to people in their care, responding promptly to individuals' needs, and people were given time to make their own day to day decisions.
