During a routine inspection
We asked relatives of people who used the service what they thought of the care they received; one person said, 'My husband could not have any better care, it is wonderful.'
We reviewed four care plans and saw each person had an individual risk assessment for medication. It was evident this was reviewed annually or sooner if necessary.
We spoke with a care worker. They told us they felt they had enough time and support to care for people and meet their needs. The staff rotas showed there was adequate travelling time between each call; this was confirmed by the three members of staff we spoke with.
We asked people if they were able to make complaints and how these were managed. One person gave us the names of the people they would approach with complaints. Another person said, 'I only have to telephone the office and I know something will get done.'
