Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must instruct a suitably qualified, skilled and competent person to undertake oversight of medicines management, which will include monthly audits for the registered provider. The registered provider will provide a copy of each monthly audit on the first Monday of each month, to the Care Quality Commission and set out action taken (or to be taken) as a result of the audit.

The registered provider must establish and operate an effective system to ensure the ongoing assessing, monitoring and improvement of care and support to service users. The registered provider must provide a report to the Commission setting out what action has been identified and what needs to be completed in response to concerns identified during the inspection. Concerns included Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) applications, monitoring of needs like weight loss, body maps, recruitment information and ensuring accurate records are kept for service users. The registered provider should include how they intend to complete these actions, who will complete them and by what date. Following the initial report (to be sent on the first Monday of the calendar month after the notice comes into force), the registered provider should send to the Commission an updated report on the first Monday of each month, detailing progress against these actions at Marquis Court (Windsor House) Care Home, Littleworth Road, Hednesford, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS12 1HY
