During a routine inspection
We spoke with four people using the service. People told us they were happy with the care and support they received from the agency. Their comments included 'it's working out brilliantly for me so far' and 'I can't fault them. I was anxious at first but I'm so glad now.'
We spoke with two care workers. They told us they had received training to carry out their work and demonstrated a good knowledge of how to care and support people safely.
We spoke with a local authority officer from the council responsible for funding most of the agency's clients. They told us they were aware of the financial situation and were working with the provider to ensure continuity of care.
The provider carried out checks on new staff and had systems in place to monitor the quality of services provided.
