During a routine inspection

During our visit we looked at two peoples' records and spoke with two people who were living at Broken Banks. We found they had been given clear and useful information about the service and about the care and support they needed. People had their needs assessed on a regular basis and had been involved in discussions and agreements about their care. People's health and well-being was monitored and appropriate advice and support had been sought in response to changes in their condition. We found people were able to make their own decisions and were supported to take reasonable risks.

During our visit we found the home to be comfortable, clean and tidy. There were effective systems in place to make sure the home was in a good state of repair.

There was a clear system for raising any complaints; people told us they were happy with the service they received. People were happy with the staff team and told us they were provided with staff support when they needed.
