During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us that the staff knew how they wanted to be supported and that they made sure they got what they needed. We asked one person what they thought of the quality of care. They told us, 'I haven't needed to make a complaint, so what does that say? They are very good.' A relative said that, 'We have always found the carers to be patient and understanding.' People told us that they were consulted when their care plans were written and were given an opportunity to read them before they were finalised.
We spoke with three staff members who told us that they received supervision and that they felt that sufficient training was given to enable them to do their job effectively. We found evidence in the staff files that showed the service had systems in place to monitor the quality of care the service provided.
