During a routine inspection

On the day of the visit people were asked if they would like to speak to us about their care, but they declined. They did however agree to answer some questions and feed back to us through the homes activities coordinator. They said that although they did not choose the home themselves, they liked it. They said that the staff were kind and caring. They said that the food was of a good standard and alternatives were available on request. They also said that staff were available to provide care when people needed it. People said that visitors to the home were made very welcome and could call unannounced at all reasonable times. They said that they were kept up to date and were informed of changes.
