During a routine inspection
We saw that people's needs were assessed and planned. People received care in the way they wanted and as identified. We looked at three staff files and spoke to two care staff who worked for the service and two professionals who had contact with the agency. One professional said, 'I have no issues, they always alert us if they have a problem and the paperwork is fine.'
The manager told us they have 18 care staff, a registered manager and three assistant managers. This showed that there were sufficient numbers of suitable staff to meet people's needs. One care staff said, 'I can always speak to a manager, they encourage you to progress and they are very flexible.'
Staff were aware of their responsibilities under safeguarding procedures, and who they should report any concerns or an allegation of abuse to. Staff had a good knowledge and understanding of the individual needs of people who used the service.
A relative we spoke to said 'They are just amazing really at keeping in touch, I'd recommend them, everything is spot on.'
