During a routine inspection

We spoke with all three people who lived in the home during our visit. We saw that staff were careful to protect people's privacy and dignity. One person said, 'They always knock on my door before they come in.' People told us they liked living in the home, one person said 'I wouldn't stay here if I didn't like it; it's one of the best homes I've ever been in.' All three people told us that staff looked after them very well. One person told us they knew about their care plan and staff involved them in writing their personal records although they told us they chose not to sign their care plan. People said they enjoyed the food, they told us there was always enough. People said they felt safe in the home, they were happy with their flats and they knew who to speak to if they were unhappy about anything. They told us were involved in decisions about how the home was run.
