During a routine inspection

All the people and their relatives we spoke with told us that they were involved in making choices and decisions about their care. For example one relative told us, 'the support worker takes her out, she likes to go shopping'. Another relative said, "he has improved since the carers have been taking him out and he is healthier too'. People told us that they were satisfied with the level and quality of services being provided by care workers and office staff. For example, a relative told us "the carers that comes is very pleasant and polite, she always wears an apron and gloves'. Another relative told us 'the carers always write in the log book and they have seen the care plan'.

We found people using the service were involved in decisions about their care and were treated with dignity and respect. They experienced care that met their needs and were cared for by suitably skilled and experienced care workers. The provider had completed all appropriate checks for staff members before they began work. The provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service people received.
