During a routine inspection
They told us that the accommodation was of a very good standard and praised the staff. One person said, 'The staff go out of their way to help you.' Another person said, 'The staff are just brilliant. They really understand what we are going through'. Everyone we spoke with said there were sufficient staff on duty at all times.
They described a, 'Very strict timetable with punctuality being very important', but said that they recognised this was an important part of their treatment. They told us that where possible, choices were given. For instance, one person described the lunch time meal (which is provided by the Service) as, 'Very good, with the choices being more than acceptable.' People described being given more responsibility and choice as they progressed through their treatment.
One person told us that, 'Overall [their stay and treatment at The Clifton Clinic] been a very positive experience'. The other people we spoke with agreed this view.
