We did not, on this occasion, speak directly to people so cannot report what the people using the service said.

One person described some of the things they had been doing which included going to the coast, ice skating and to the cinema. One person relative told us that staff bring their relative to visit and stay with them often and nothing is too much trouble.

We spoke to some people's relatives and they told us that their loved ones were very happy at the home and that Ridgewood Drive was the best place.

One person's relative told us that they thought that the food was good and their loved one had a good appetite.

People's relatives that we spoke with said they felt assured that their loved ones were safe and that when they had had time away from the home they always were happy to return.

People's relatives told us that they felt that the staff members were all very good and that the staff members know the needs of the people using the service well.

People's relatives told us that they had no worries about the service but would raise any concerns they have. One person's relative told us that it's the happiest their loved one has ever been and there were no complaints.
