During a routine inspection
People told us that the staff are good and they get the help that they need. People if they had any problems they would talk to the manager and she would sort them out.
People told us that there are activities on offer in the afternoons if people want to join in. We also get entertainers in every month, which we enjoy.
There is a choice available for every meal. Generally the meals are good and if people don't like what is on offer the kitchen staff will make an alternative meal.
Relatives told us that they are always made to feel welcome and that staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is training on offer for the staff and no one starts working here until they have completed a weeks training and worked with an experienced member of staff. Staff told us that they enjoy working at Rastrick Hall and enjoy their jobs. They told us they get regular supervision and feel supported in their roles.
