During a routine inspection
When asked about the environment of the home, one relative said 'The home is fine, yes it could do with decorating but it is an old building.' Another relative said, 'When ever we have been to the home it is always very clean and tidy. My loved one is perfectly happy there.'
We spoke to relatives who generally said that they found staff friendly and caring. Comments we received said;
'Staff always contact me and phone me immediately if I need to know about anything.'
'The staff are polite, it is the nicest home I have been too.'
'Yes the staff are very polite and caring.'
'The staff are very helpful whenever we have visited.'
Although we received very positive comments from relatives we spoke to, we found the service was non complaint in five outcome areas.
