During a routine inspection

During our inspection we had conversations with two people with a learning disability. They told us that staff supported them in the way that they liked. This included access to the community, supporting their hobbies and helping them to manage their financial affairs safely. One person told us 'The staff are lovely, they're like my second family.'

We also spoke to one person with a mental health condition and three people with physical disabilities on the telephone. They said that the agency occasionally had staffing problems and that this could lead to poor continuity of care. The manager said that there had been problems over the summer but that they were currently recruiting additional staff to prevent a recurrence of the problems. People we spoke with were complimentary about the majority of staff. One person described them as 'absolutely brilliant'. Another person said 'I've recommended the agency to other people. I'm a happy customer.'
