During a routine inspection

People told us they were happy with the support they received and said they were in control of how this was provided. People who use the service and relatives said they have good relationships with staff and managers and they can approach them to discuss any aspect of their care and support. One person said 'I have a static staff team and they know me well. I can see my key-worker or a manager if there is anything I need to discuss.'

We found that the service respects and takes account of decisions made by people who use the service. When people did not have the capacity to consent, the provider acted in accordance with legal requirements to seek Best Interest Decisions on their behalf.

We found that suitable arrangements were in place for the safe keeping and handling of medicines, including arrangements for people who wish to look after their own medicines.

We found that staff were well supported, with suitable arrangements in place for induction, training and supervision to enable them to undertake their work safely and to an appropriate standard. People told us staff supported them well. One person said 'I ask for what support I need and I do what I can for myself.' People told us they are involved in a range of activities of their choice away from their home.
