During a routine inspection

People using the service told us they were satisfied with the care and support they received from GS Social Care Solutions. Three of the people we spoke with said: "Completely outstanding, I would recommend them to anybody", "It's a really good service" and "They are efficient and caring".

People told us they were involved in planning their care and support package. They had agreed and consented to various aspects of care and support.

They told us the care they received was good and that they had care plans which explained their needs and how their support should be provided.

People considered they were treated with respect and said care workers promoted independence. They had no concerns about their care and treatment; they said they liked the manager and staff. They told us the care workers were helpful, reliable and punctual.

People were being appropriately supported with medicines. However, we found some progress was needed with instructions for care workers to make sure people got their medicines safely.

People had been consulted about their experience of the service. We found checks of the services' various systems and practises had been carried out. We found the results of the quality monitoring could be better highlighted, with plans drawn up to show future improvements.

During a routine inspection

People using the service told us they were satisfied with the care and support they received from GS Social Care Solutions. Three of the people we spoke with said, 'I find them to be very caring, very friendly and very good', 'I think they are alright, no problems whatsoever' and 'It's excellent they do the job well'.

People told us they were involved in planning their care and support package. They told us the care they received was good and that they had care plans which explained their needs and how their support should be provided. We found some information in care plans was lacking in detail. However, the manager told us a new care plan was to be introduced; this was to include more specific instructions for staff to follow.

People considered they were treated with dignity and said their privacy was respected. They had no concerns about their care and treatment; they said they felt safe with the staff.

People told us they told us they liked the staff. They told us the staff were helpful, reliable and punctual.

People were being consulted about their experience of the service. We found some checks of the services' various systems and practises had been carried out. We were told further monitoring processes were to be introduced.

During a routine inspection

People using the service told us they were satisfied with the support they received from GS Social Care Solutions Ltd, they made the following comments. 'It's a really good agency'. 'They are fine, quite good'. 'I have nothing wrong to say about them'. 'I am happy with them'. 'One of the best agencies I have had in a long while'.

People told us they were involved in planning their care and support. They were enabled to make choices and decisions about matters which affected them.

People considered they were treated with dignity and said their privacy was respected. They told us they were encouraged to be as independent as possible. They said the staff were, fantastic, brilliant and grand.

They told us the care they received was good and that they had care plans, which instructed staff on what they needed to do when they provided support. However, we found some improvements were needed with care plans to make sure they included appropriate details.

People had no concerns about their care and treatment; they said they felt safe with the staff. However, we found some improvements were needed to make sure proper safeguards are in place to protect people using the service.

People said they were consulted about the service and that checks on visits and practices were being carried out.
