During a routine inspection

During our visit to Cedar Lodge on 11 November 2011 people told us that this is their home, they have lived here a long time and they love it here. We saw a letter from a family member who had written to thank the staff team. They wrote, 'I feel so contented knowing my relative is being so well cared for by all staff at Cedar Lodge and this has taken a lot of worry away from me'.

People had good relationships with the staff and told us they felt safe here. Staff were very kind and caring, and attentive to people's needs. People told us they liked the staff and showed that they enjoyed the staffs' company.
