During an inspection looking at part of the service

People who live in the home have dementia, we were not familiar with everyone's way of communicating, so we were not able to gain everyone's views. However, people spoken with were positive about the staff and the support they receive.

During a routine inspection

People who live in the home all have types of dementia. They were able to express themselves in different ways one man said 'I like going outside'. Another said how kind the staff were.

People were observed being supported by staff in a gentle and affirming way. When people were confused or getting upset staff reassured people and spent time with them.

One of the staff said working at Green View House was like 'being in a big family. We work together staff and residents. Everyone works well and we all care about the people who live here. Another staff member said' I absolutely love it here the atmosphere is great and we get on brilliantly'

A relative visiting spoke of how 'staff are always the same whoever visits they treat everyone kindly and never need to put on a show '
