During a routine inspection
People were satisfied with the service and told us that the care and support they received met their needs and was carried out in a way that suited them. However we found the records about the care and support people needed could be improved to give more detailed guidance to staff on how to support and protect people.
People told us their views and opinions were listened to and taken into account in the
planning of their support. However the agency's own auditing systems needed to be
developed to identify the areas that needed improvement.
People made complimentary comments about the staff team. One person said, "I am happy with the service and am very grateful for their support". However, from the records that we looked at, we were unable to determine whether staff had the skills and knowledge to look after people properly.
People told us staff were reliable and punctual. We were told people were provided with the same staff and they knew which staff member was arriving to provide their care. They told us they would be notified if there were any changes to staff.
