During a routine inspection

During our inspection we looked at care and staff recruitment records. We did this to confirm people were being well supported. We also wanted to ensure staff members had been recruited safely to protect the people in their care. We spoke with people being supported and their family members. They told us they were receiving safe and appropriate care which was meeting their needs. They said the staff members visiting them were polite, reliable and very professional when undertaking their work. One person said, 'My carers are both polite and courteous. They are good timekeepers and are patient with me when providing my support'. Another person said, 'I am well looked after. I have an excellent group of staff supporting me'.

During our inspection we contacted the Blackpool contracts monitoring team. They told us they currently had no concerns with the service being provided by the agency.

During a routine inspection

People told us they had received a visit from a representative from the agency before the service commenced. They told us their needs had been discussed and they had agreed to the support to be provided. They told us their carers provided sensitive and flexible personal care support and they felt well cared for. They said they had no concerns about the care being provided and they felt safe and protected from potential harm.

"The staff who support me are very caring people".

"I have been with other agencies but this is by far the best. You can tell the time by my carers. They always arrive on time".

"Very reliable service. I have never been let down. All the girls who support me are polite, courteous and very patient. I look forward to their visits".
