Inspection carried out on 18 January 2013

During a routine inspection

We have not been able to speak to people who use the service. At the time of the inspection people were not present at the clinic. We contacted people by phone and email but did not receive a response on this occasion.

People who use the service were provided with sufficient information to assist then to make a decision about their treatment. People had a treatment plan and the surgical procedure took place in a clean and well maintained environment.

We found that suitable arrangements had not been put in place to ensure that staff were receiving appropriate training, professional development, supervision and appraisal. Systems were not in place to audit and assess overall quality and safety at the clinic.
