We met one person who lived at Sutton Court lodge and our observations were of a person who was comfortable in their surroundings. There were no restrictions on this person, and they were able to please themselves with regard to living in the home.

We also spoke with two members of staff, one of whom was the registered manager. They both said how much they enjoyed working at the care home, and there had been an improvement in morale and team spirit in the last twelve months. A staff member also said that there were good training opportunities available and they felt well supported.

We found that people received care and support that protected their rights and met their needs from staff that were properly trained and supported.
