Date of Assessment: 18 March 2025 to 21 March 2025. The Nimmo Clinic is a private independent health clinic. The service is run by the registered manager who was also the clinical director. This was the first assessment of the service since it was registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on 2 December 2021. We carried out this unannounced assessment of 3 quality statements in response to concerns raised with us regarding how the service operated and the safety of people receiving treatment. Following this assessment and the significant concerns we identified, we suspended the registration of both the provider, Vacker Ltd, and the registered manager for 3 months. This means that they cannot provide regulated activities during this period of suspension.

This service is registered with CQC under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 in respect of some, but not all, of the services it provides. There are some exemptions from regulation by CQC which relate to particular types of regulated activities and services and these are set out in Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 of The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. The Nimmo Clinic provides a range of non-surgical cosmetic interventions, for example dermal fillers, and cosmetic Botox injections which are not within CQC scope of registration. Therefore, we did not assess or report on these services.
