During an inspection in response to concerns

People told us they were happy with the care they received and said that staff knew their likes and dislikes. People we spoke with said that the staff were 'nice'. Staff spent time sitting with residents, and one person said that they 'liked' talking to staff.

However the home was in serious financial difficulty. At the end of January 2011 the bank closed its account with the home, so staff were not paid. This meant the home had to close so people had to be supported to move to other homes at short notice.
